Op Pegasus
“Operation Pegasus Jump” is more than just a skydiving event, it’s a powerful movement for healing, connection, and awareness. Founded in July 2022, this initiative was created by veterans, for veterans, and has since grown to include first responders and active service members from across Canada.
The mission is simple but deeply meaningful: to support those who have experienced PTSD and other mental health challenges stemming from high-demand, high-stress occupations. Through the shared experience of skydiving, Operation Pegasus Jump builds community, encourages open conversation, and reminds participants that they’re never alone.
We are incredibly proud to host this event at Campbell River Skydive. We’re honoured to host Operation Pegasus Jump here at Campbell River Skydive. As a drop zone with strong military ties, a large veteran presence, and a culture grounded in support and camaraderie, this event feels right at home with us and we’re proud to provide the space where such powerful connections can be made.
Whether you’re a military veteran, active-duty member, firefighter, paramedic, police officer, or other front-line worker, Op Peg offers something truly special: a chance to reconnect, recharge, and find healing through skydiving and community.
