With over 1,700 skydives and a lifetime of service behind him, Darryl brings unmatched dedication and calm to every jump. He holds multiple Canadian skydiving ratings, including Coach 2, Tandem Instructor, and Jump Master, making him a key member of both the student program and tandem operations.

Before joining the team full-time, Darryl served 35 years in the Canadian Armed Forces — 8 years as a medic and 27 as a Search and Rescue Technician (SAR Tech). That background gives him a unique ability to lead under pressure and guide others through new challenges.

Now retired and based in the Comox Valley, Darryl’s passion for skydiving is stronger than ever. Whether he’s introducing someone to their first freefall or coaching licensed jumpers, his approachable energy and big smile are impossible to miss.
