Gunny has been part of the skydiving community since 1982 and brings decades of experience both in and out of the sport. A 31-year veteran of the Canadian Army, he served as a Military Freefall and Static Line Parachutist, and was a proud member of the Canadian Forces Parachute Team, the Sky Hawks.

Throughout his career, Gunny has jumped with military teams in Canada, the USA, Cambodia, and Thailand. His vast knowledge and military precision make him an invaluable instructor and mentor at the dropzone.
